Dr. Pak grew up in Southern California, near Redondo Beach and Torrance, studied Electrical Engineering at UCLA and for a period worked at Rockwell in Newport Beach and Broadcom in Irvine. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University, where he is currently serving as an Adjunct Professor.
Dr. Pak’s philosophy in dentistry is education and prevention. He believes in educating patients on how to care for their teeth on a daily basis and detecting problems at early stages. Dr. Pak says these two things will go a long way to help you avoid the need for crowns, root canals, and gum disease.
He is dedicated to advance, postdoctoral study and to provide his patients with a gentle, caring, comprehensive approach to oral health. He believes in conservative and preventative dentistry. His goal is to increase the longevity of his patient’s teeth and their beautiful smiles.
Dr. Pak, his wife, and two children (ages 9 and 11) reside in Irvine. His hobbies include wrestling, parachuting, scuba diving, catamarans, aerobatic flying, bungee jumping, running, biking, motorcycling, and playing video games. He also volunteers his time and dental skills to help people in need. Dr. Pak is committed to the underserved and regularly volunteers at local and overseas dental clinics to provide much needed dental treatments, to some who have never seen a dentist.
